Prof. K V Venkatesh
Founder | Director | Chief Scientist
Prof. K. V. Venkatesh is a leading expert in systems biology–driven health innovation with over three decades of experience in chemical and biosystems engineering. A B.Tech graduate from IIT Madras and Ph.D. from Purdue University, he is a Professor at IIT Bombay and Director & Chief Scientist at MetFlux Research. His work spans physiological modeling and data-driven insights into metabolism, immunity, gut health, and aging. Recognized among India’s Top 2% Scientists in Biotechnology by Stanford University, he is a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences and recipient of the H.H. Mathur Excellence Award and Swarnajayanti Fellowship.
Bhagchand Gurjar (Karan)
Head of Technology
Bhagchand’s experience blends a biotechnology background with systems-oriented software development. Since 2019, he has led technology and product development at MetFlux, driving platform strategy and capability building to support innovation. He has contributed to the conceptualization of the ΩmeX suite and leads the development of MetSights Essentials and Precision+. His work embeds biological logic into digital tools for R&D workflows and personalization. With domain experience across inflammaging, metabolic and immune health, and child development, Bhagchand plays a key role in translating complex science into scalable, platform-enabled product solutions.
